C.T.W. Engineered Glazing Systems provides window and curtain wall systems that intergrate with any potential need of any project. We have our standard aluminum solutions (Series 200 & Series 600), and our new HYBRID aluminum and wood window and curtain wall systems (Series 1, Series 2 & Series 3).

OVERVIEW
The HYBRID Series 1 windows and doors are a 3 1/4" (83mm) high performance system that achieves very high thermal values, providing low U-values well below the current and anticipated future building regulation requirements. Comprising the insulating benefits of wood on the inside and the durability of aluminum on the outside. The system includes inward and outward opening windows and doors.
CONSTRUCTION
THe HYBRID Series 1 windows and doors are constructed using mitered joints on both the aluminum and the wood frames. Using a mechanical corner joint at the aluminum and patented dovetail keys on the wood enables the framed to be constructed without the need for complicated production processes.
PERFORMANCE
The HYBRID Series 1 inward and outward opening windows and doors have been tested in accordance with AAMA & NFRC (performance of windows and doors-classification of weather tightness and guidance on selection and specification).
Test reports are available upon request.
GLAZING
Insulated glazing is standard and should be carried out to the recommendations of AAMA. A variety of glass options are available to maximize the thermal and acoustical performance per project. Glazing is inserted between the aluminum and wood frames for maximum security.
FINISHES
The external aluminum is available in anodized, powder coat, or Kynar finishes. The internal wood is available in Spruce and Douglas Fir, with clear lacquered or water based paint finishes.

SERIES 2: HYBRID Wood and Aluminum Casement Windows
OVERVIEW
The HYBRID Series 2 casement is available as either a 4.9" (125mm) or 5.9" (150mm) high performance window system that achieves very high thermal insulation values, providing low U-values well below the current and anticipated future building regulation requirements. Comprising the insulating benefits of wood on the inside and the durability of aluminum on the outside, the system includes top hung, side hung, and fixed light combination windows. The HYBRID Series 2 windows provide a clean symmetrical look, with an aesthetically pleasing appearance, regardless of whether the window opens or is a fixed pane.
CONSTRUCTION
The HYBRID Series 2 windows are constructed using mitered joints on both the wood and aluminum frames. Using a mechanical corner joint and patented dovetail keys on the wood enables the frames to be constructed without the need for complicated production processes. Integral transoms and mullions are inserted by scribing the ends and screwing to the frames. Opening lights are designed to be inserted directly into the frame using friction stays.
PERFORMANCE
The HYBRID Series 2 window has been tested in accordance with AAMA & NFRC (performance of windows and doors-classification for weather tightness and guidance on selection and specification).

The HYBRID Series 3 curtain wall is an 2" (50mm) or 2 1/2" (63.5mm) high performance, zone drained, stick system that achieves very high thermal insulation values, providing U- values well below the current and anticipated future building regulation requirements.
Utilizing the insulating benefits of wood on the inside and aluminum on the outside, the curtain wall can incorporate all of the C.T.W. Engineered Glazing Systems and SAS HYBRID windows and doors.
CONSTRUCTION
The HYBRID Series 3 curtain walls are constructed using vertical mullions with face fixed horizontal transoms on both the aluminum and the wood profiles. A wide range of transom and mullion section depths are available to maximize performance.
PERFORMANCE
The HYBRID Series 3 curtain wall has been tested in accordance with the AAMA, and A.S.T.M. curtain wall standards. Results available upon request.

LAMBOO WOOD OPTION: Available for All HYBRID Series Window, Door, and Curtain Wall Solutions
OVERVIEW.Lamboo is an engineered, high performance bamboo product that is offered in the C.T.W. Engineered Glazing Systems HYBRID product line. Bamboo, as a building product, offers enhanced performace over traditional forms of construction material. The Lamboo lamination process has created a superior structural building material that is cabale of reaching greater spans while maintaining stability and longevity. Lamboo materials are highly resistant to damage from water, pest, and microbial sources and exhibit embedded flame retardants which puts this wood alternative into a class of its own. SERIES 600: Aluminum Curtainwall System
OVERVIEW.
The Series 600 is available in 2 ½” (63.5mm) face width with depths of 4 7/8” (123.8mm), 5 5/8” (142.8mm), 7 ¼” (184.2mm) and 10” (254mm) to meet your project requirements. The system is constructed with individually zoned drainage chambers and is thermally improved for optimal condensation resistance.
C.T.W. Engineered Glazing Systems is capable of providing the best suited solution for your project needs with either a stick system or unitized pre-glazed system.
PERFORMANCE
The Series 600 aluminum curtain wall system has been tested to and meets and exceeds the most stringent standards in the industry, ASTM E383-04, ASTM E330-02 & ASTM E547-00. Thermal testing to AAMA 1603-2009 and NFRC 200,300 & 500.
GLAZING
The Series 600 aluminum curtain wall system can accommodate glass types from ¼” (6.35mm) to 1 ¾” (44.45mm) to meet any project design requirements. Insulated metal panels and metal back pans with insulation at spandrel areas can be provided for additional thermal performance at non vision areas.
FINISHES
The Series 600 aluminum curtain wall system is available in a full range of anodized, powder coat, or Kynar finishes.
